Many ideas, seven stages, one brand-new pasta, and your chance to design it.

In this new edition of our Sonda Designed by People program, we’re looking for six participants ready for a creative process that will, over the coming months, bring to life a pasta that will one day sit on shelves and in the hands of many pasta lovers.

Our shared task will be developing the creative concept behind the shape and name of a new pasta for Klara Marić, a family company from Kanfanar and Croatia’s largest producer of traditional Istrian pasta.

No design experience? No problem. All you need is the willingness to imagine, try, and fail with us until we get it right. Through workshops and smaller tasks in between, mentors from our Studio Sonda – with more than 20 years of experience in design and branding – guide you through the whole process, from the first idea and sketch, through a visit to the production facility, to a finished concept ready for presentation.

When? From October to November, through weekly afternoon workshops.

Where? Sonda Creative Center, Vižinada, Istria.

Why is this the right program for you?

• You’ll gain insight into the creative and practical processes that lead to the realization of a product’s visual identity – one that will end up in stores;
• The concept you help develop will be produced and publicly presented, and we’ll publicly recognize your name;
• You’ll be part of the product’s launch and among the first to try it;
• At the end, you receive a certificate of participation and join a community of people who have gone through the Sonda Designed by People program.

Participation is free; the only cost you cover yourself is travel to Vižinada. The program is open to all adults, regardless of profession, education, or age, and does not include financial compensation.

Applications received after this deadline, or incomplete applications, will not be considered. This is a chance to hold something you imagine today in your hands a few months from now – as a finished product.
