How did Creative Center come to life in the heart of rural Istria, and what actually happens here day to day?

We answered these questions and many more last Wednesday, when we officially opened the doors of the Sonda Creative Center for a day. In collaboration with Studio Sonda, we told the story of how it all began – from the very first idea to the space where our programs now take place.

Visitors had a guided tour of the Center, and over coffee and traditional Istrian sweets, heard some stories we haven’t shared before and asked plenty of questions about our work in the local community. The conversation ran on longer than planned – which is always a good sign!
