We invite young people aged 16 to 25 from Istria, with a special focus on those from smaller towns and rural areas, to join the unique film workshops of the Atelier Pelikula project.
The workshops offer an excellent opportunity for those who want to explore the world of film, develop their creative skills, and create their own film works that will be showcased at festivals in the region and beyond.
What awaits you?
The workshops will take place twice a week for 10 weeks, lasting three school hours each session. Educational lectures will start in mid-January, and they will be held in a group of 15 participants. Schedules can be adjusted to participants’ availability, and there is also the possibility of weekend workshops. Free organized transportation is provided.
The program includes:
- Theoretical and practical work on filmmaking in a relaxed and inspiring environment;
- Mentorship by Davor Sanvincenti, multimedia artist, and guest lectures by industry experts;
- Work on topics such as the environment, human rights, and social inclusion;
- Presentation of the final films at festivals in the region.
