We have become members of the Local Action Group (LAG) “Northern Istria.” This significant collaboration will open new opportunities for further development and strengthening of our local community.

LAGs are organizations established within the European Union to support the development of rural regions. They bring together representatives from the public, economic, and civil sectors who work together to develop their communities. LAG “Northern Istria” focuses on fostering infrastructural, environmental, social, economic, and cultural development. Its objectives include enhancing local resources, creating new jobs, and ensuring a better quality of life for residents. The initiative to establish LAGs is driven by the active involvement of rural populations in promoting new ideas and activities beyond traditional practices, encouraging sustainable development and generating new income sources in rural areas.

Membership in LAG provides us with the opportunity to strengthen partnerships with other local stakeholders, exchange experiences and knowledge, and participate in projects that will enhance our community. We look forward to new challenges and collaborations that will contribute to the development of our local area!
