As part of the “Designer’s Beginner” program, which we carry out in collaboration with the Croatian Design Association – HDD, and with the financial support of the Istrian County, we had the pleasure of hosting talented students from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Pula on Monday.
Our meeting at the Sonda Creative Center focused on stimulating creativity and inspiring artistic creation, with the main theme being green design. Design is not just about drawing; it represents a deeper process of thinking about how things work and how we can improve them. Drawing from our own experiences and examples, we posed questions to encourage thinking and creativity. Through the history of design, its development over time, and its adaptation to societal and technological changes, we aimed to provide insight into how deeply design is embedded in our daily lives and how it shapes the world around us.
We witness the rapid evolution of the world around us, and we are here to provide our participants with tools and perspectives for shaping the future of sustainable design. Through inspiring examples, we encouraged them to think about how they want to impact the world around them and how they can contribute to creating a more sustainable and beautiful environment for all.
The implementation of the program is financially supported by Istrian County – Regione Istriana, Department for Culture and Heritage – Assessorato cultura e territorialità.
