A ceremony to sign the contract for the allocation of financial resources based on the Public call for encouraging Youth creativity in the field of culture and art of the Istrian County was held today at the Museum of contemporary art in Pula.
President of the Istrian County Region Boris Miletić praised the quality programs and successful applications of all the recipients, including the Sonda Association. He emphasized the importance of encouraging youth creativity as one of the priorities of the Istrian County Cultural Strategy and highlighted the 50% increase in the budget for this purpose.
Vladimir Torbica, Head of the Department of Culture and Local Heritage of Istrian County, joined in congratulating the young cultural workers and artists, especially noting that this year saw an increase in applications, both from associations and individuals. He also pointed out the rise in the number of positively evaluated applications compared to 2022.
More than 20 recipients, including civil society organizations, talented artists, and cultural enthusiasts from the region, were selected for financial support. The call was launched last year for the first time and represents a unique initiative aimed at providing support to young artists, associations, and cultural institutions.
The Sonda Association expresses its gratitude to Istrian County for the support, which will enable it to take a step forward towards opportunities for creating a more creative future for the entire community.
